Rapid City Regional Hospital's medical facility is a general and psychiatric hospital with more than 400 acute care beds and 50 psychiatric beds located in western Black Hills of South Dakota. The acute-care facility specializes in cardiology (it's the only dedicated chest pain center in the region), general surgery, orthopedic care, uruology, and vascular care. Redmond Regional Medical Center also provides emergency, oncology, radiology, rehabilitation, and women's health services. It has centers dedicated to diabetes treatment, family care, and sleep disorders. Founded in 1972, the Rome-based hospital is owned by HCA.

Regina Medical Center is a regional health care provider in southeastern Minnesota. The hospital provides acute and long-term health care services to residents of Dakota County, Minnesota. Founded in 1953, the not-for-profit Regina Medical Center has 60 acute care hospital beds and nearly 200 nursing and assisted living beds. Specialty services include cardiology, obstetrics, pediatrics, urology, and neurology. Regina Medical also operates several community health and surgery centers jointly with Allina Hospitals and Clinics.
