Emergency Medical Services Corporation company is the parent of AMR Inc., the largest private ambulance service in the US, and EmCare Holdings, a leading medical staffing firm that specializes in filling emergency rooms with doctors and nurses. AMR has approximately 3,300 contracts with clients (cities, government agencies, health care providers, and insurance companies) in more than 35 states for emergency and non-emergency transport services. EmCare provides staffing services to more than 450 hospitals and physician groups in 40 states. Private investment firm Onex controls the company.

Fi-Med Management company uses proprietary software technology and customizes its technologies and services to its clients. Fi-Med is based in Wisconsin and, following a 2008 merger with Mediplete, also has regional offices in Utah and California. With roots dating back to 1993, Fi-Med was founded by president Adrian Velasquez and Christine Krause.
