Denver Health and Hospital Authority
Denver Health and Hospital Authority provides residents of the Mile High City with a variety of health care services. The medical system's primary facility is the Denver Health Medical Center, a 475-bed hospital that functions as a regional trauma center. It also includes a network of neighborhood, school-based, and specialty health clinics, a poison and drug center, a medical health plan, and a 911 response system for Denver County. Denver Health has research and educational operations, and it houses the Rocky Mountain Center for Medical Response to Terrorism, Mass Casualties and Epidemics, as well as the Colorado Biological, Nuclear, Incendiary, Chemical and Explosive (BNICE) Training Center.
