Deaconess Associations Incorporated
Deaconess Associations Incorporated (DAI) traces its origin to Deaconess Hospital, an acute care facility founded in 1888 in Cincinnati. While remaining grounded in the values of its Christian heritage, DAI has diversified over the past decade into a company that now remains centered in the Midwest.
DAI is composed of an acute care hospital; long term care facilities, which include nursing homes, retirement centers and assisted living facilities. The companies are supported by a strong Foundation, which works with the various communities to match support with current needs. The world reknowned Heimlich Institute is also a member of DAI, whose efforts educate the public about effective lifesaving techniques.
DAI's success is a result of selective growth strategies which are responsive to industry transformation, contemporary patient needs and responsible resource management. This approach is predicated on DAI's commitment to providing quality services that enhance the well-being of our patients and communities where DAI has a presence.
