Cleveland Medical Devices Inc.
Cleveland Medical Devices, call it CleveMed for short, develops and markets wireless patient monitors for neurological, pressure management, and rehabilitation applications. Its wireless telemetry and physiological monitoring products are developed for use in settings that existing technologies can't serve as well. Its Crystal Monitor series provides monitoring on urgent care patients, and allows sleep disorders to be monitored from the patient's home. Its Kinesia product is a small wireless system used to monitor, quantify, record, and telemeter body movements, such as tremors, in patients with movement disorders. Cleveland Medical Devices was founded in 1990 by CEO Robert Schmidt.
