Cambridge Heart makes noninvasive tools for diagnosing cardiac arrest and ventricular arrhythmia. Its CH 2000 system conducts cardiac stress tests and measures extremely low levels of T-wave alternans, an irregularity in an electrocardiogram indicating the risk of sudden cardiac death. Another product, the Heartwave II System, allows T-wave alternans screenings to be performed with any stress test system. The company's Microvolt T-Wave Alternans technology can detect the smallest heartbeat variation, measuring from one-millionth of a volt.
