Baptist Hospital of Miami, the flagship facility of the Baptist Health South Florida health system, provides residents of the city with a full range of health care services, including pediatric, cancer, home health, rehabilitation, and cardiovascular care. The hospital has more than 550 beds and offers a sleep diagnostic center, a pediatric emergency room, and a neonatal intensive care unit. Its emergency center treats more than 75,000 patients each year. The hospital also offers wellness programs in areas such as women's health, diabetes, and heart disease. Baptist Hospital of Miami was founded in 1960.

The Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis campus includes the flagship hospital of the Baptist Memorial Health Care system. Opened in 1979, the hospital is located adjacent to the I-240 loop. Also located on the Baptist Memphis campus is a separately licensed 30-bed skilled nursing facility and the 30-bed Restorative Care Hospital. With more than 26,000 admissions, 57,000 emergency department visits and 15,000 surgeries in 2009, Baptist Memphis is one of Tennessee’s highest volume hospitals. The emergency department has 31 treatment suites staffed by 24-hour-a-day emergency physicians for the treatment of adults. It also has a separate, dedicated five-room pediatric treatment area staffed around the clock with in-house pediatric emergency physicians. In addition, the hospital houses the 19-bed inpatient Hardin Pediatric Center.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital has a lot to show residents of the Show-Me State. As the largest hospital in Missouri, it serves the residents of St. Louis and surrounding communities with some 1,200 inpatient beds and a medical staff of 1,800. The flagship facility of BJC HealthCare, the facility is the primary teaching hospital of Washington University School of Medicine, and it offers care in a number of medical specialties, including organ transplantation, pulmonary disease, oncology, cardiovascular disease, and orthopedics. The health center was created in 1996 through the merger of two St. Louis hospitals with roots reaching back to the early 1900s.
