With more than 26,000 admissions, 57,000 emergency department visits and 15,000 surgeries in 2009, Baptist Memphis is one of Tennessee’s highest volume hospitals. The emergency department has 31 treatment suites staffed by 24-hour-a-day emergency physicians for the treatment of adults.
