Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), founded as a division of QUALCOMM in 1995, designs integrated circuits (ICs) and software for wireless communications equipment based on the CDMA standard. QCT products go into mobile phones, navigation devices, notebook computers, and other consumer electronics. QUALCOMM pioneered the use of CDMA in commercial wireless applications and is the leading supplier of CDMA chipsets. Its products include baseband, radio- frequency, and power amplification chips. QCT is the largest segment of QUALCOMM, accounting for about 60% of sales.

Qwest Wireless' customers seek cellular and online satisfaction. The company is a reseller of wireless voice and broadband Internet services to consumers within a 14 state local calling area. Its services are enabled through a deal with network operator Verizon. Qwest's agreement with Verizon, which began in 2009, allows the Denver-based company to maintain sales, marketing, customer service, billing, and collection services under its own brand. The company is a subsidiary of Qwest Communications.

As the physical infrastructure for the Internet grows, so grows Radiall. The company manufactures electronic components for the aerospace, military equipment, telecommunications, and automotive industries. It makes antennas and microwave components (attenuators, couplers, terminations) for wireless networks and connectors for fiber-optic and coaxial networks. The company's rack and panel connectors are standard components used by aerospace giants Airbus and Boeing; other clients include Alcatel and Continental. Radiall also offers radio-frequency base stations for mobile networks. The Gattaz family founded Radiall in 1952 and still controls it. Nearly half of sales come from Europe.
