SEK & GREY Oy
SEK & GREY is part of Finland's Salomaa Group, which specializes in marketing communications. Grey Group (which is part of advertising behemoth WPP Group) controls more than 20% of SEK & GREY. The company was founded in 1935 as SEK and named using initials from the three founders. Grey bought into the company in 1987. In advertising, it's a truism that sex sells; in Finland it's also true that SEK sells. SEK & GREY provides advertising agency services for such clients as Alko (government-owned alcoholic beverage stores), Nokia, Paulig (coffee, seasonings, and ethnic foods), Valio, and Finnair, which has been on SEK & GREY's client roster for some seven decades.
