Tension Envelope is one of the country’s leading manufacturers of envelope products, selling directly to companies and organizations across the country. Its coated-paperboard boxes are used to hold dry, wet, cold, and shelf-stable foods and beverages. The privately-owned company is the largest subsidiary of holding company Tetra Laval International.

Tetra Pak Ltd. manufactures aseptic laminated paperboard packaging materials used to store liquids such as milk and juice and shelf-stable processed foods such as tomatoes and tuna. Tetra Pak Ltd. company sells close to 3 billion packages a year to customers in the UK; the cartons are comprised of approximately 75% paperboard. In an effort to limit its contribution to waste products, Tetra Pak Ltd. is active in establishing recycling facilities for its used packaging, which is turned into construction materials. Tetra Pak Ltd. is the UK arm of Swiss packaging manufacturer Tetra Pak, itself a subsidiary of Tetra Laval International.
