Neenah Foundry Company
Neenah Foundry makes gray and ductile iron castings (including cast iron tree grates and manhole covers) and forged components for the heavy municipal and industrial markets. Other products include bridge scuppers, curb inlets, floor drains, trenches, wheel guards, and other castings. Its products contain at least 85% recycled material from auto bodies and scrap iron. Founded in 1872, it has sales and distribution yards in 13 states. Customers include architects, engineers, city and state governments, and contractors. Parent Neenah Enterprises filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection along with its subsidiaries in February 2010 and emerged in July of the same year.
