Alvord-Polk has heeded this advice for more than 125 years. Alvord-Polk company manufactures a range of cutting tools, from reamers to core drills, counterbores, and power brushes. The tools are sold primarily to the aerospace and automotive industries under the Alvord-Polk Tool, Brush One, Laserclad, and Morton Machine Works brands. Alvord-Polk makes standard reamers, as well as special custom-made tools, for customers throughout the US. Alvord-Polk company also offers industrial imported tools, and surplus tools. Jake Alvord and A. J. Polk founded Alvord-Polk in 1881. Ronald Boyer, Alvord-Polk company's former president, and past secretary-treasurer Robert Rissinger bought Alvord-Polk in 1977.
