Chairman and CEO Thomas Dempsey and his family own Saddlebrook Resorts, Inc. Located on approximately 480 Florida acres, the facility contains some 550 condos and hotel rooms, conference facilities, three restaurants, a spa, and retail shops. Recreational opportunities include two 18-hole golf courses, three swimming pools, 45 tennis courts, and a fitness center. The resort is also home to an accredited preparatory school and a tennis training facility. The Sahara was built in 1952 and was the setting for the original Ocean's Eleven film; it is the last remaining "Rat Pack" resort. It is owned by Sam Nazarian, a wealthy real-estate developer from Beverly Hills. The young entrepreneur is known for his hip Los Angeles-area nightclubs, such as Area, Privilege, and Hyde, which have been frequented by the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. The Las Vegas mecca is decorated in a Moroccan motif, and is home to the Casbar Theater, as well as Speed, a looped roller coaster that slingshots visitors from the casino's NASCAR Entertainment Center.
