New York Rangers Enterprises Company
New York Rangers Enterprises owns and operates the New York Rangers professional hockey franchise. Founded in 1926 by "Tex" Rickard, the team has garnered four Stanley Cup championships, its last in 1994. The Rangers represent New York City in the National Hockey League along with its suburban rival, the New York Islanders. The team plays host at Manhattan's famous Madison Square Garden, which it shares with the New York Kicks basketball team. Madison Square Garden (MSG) owns both the Rangers and the Knicks.
