England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the governing body of cricket in the UK and works to promote the sport throughout the world. The ECB was established in 1997, taking over the duties previously performed by the Cricket Council, the National Cricket Association, and the Test and County Cricket Board. Heavily involved with the development of the sport, the ECB operates various charities like the "Cricket Foundation" and programs like "Building Partnerships." The ECB has headquarters at Lord's Cricket Ground (aka "The Home of Cricket") in London.
