Its primary operations consist of its four copper deposits all in the exploration and development stages along the Corriente Copper Belt in Ecuador. Its Mirador project is the furthest along and closest to production. At the end of 2009 Chinese companies Tongling Nonferrous Metals and China Railway Construction Corp. acquired Corriente for C$680 million ($650 million).
