Agricultural producers unite is the rallying cry at this co-op. United Producers is an livestock cooperative that offers marketing, financing, and credit services to its member ranchers and farmers. It also provides risk management and production management services. The co-op has some 45,000 members in Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Missouri. All total, it operates more than 40 facilities and handles some 3 million head of livestock. In addition, it maintains a loan portfolio of more than $50 million. United Producers was founded in 1999 through the consolidation of Producers Livestock Association (Ohio/Indiana) and MFA Livestock (Missouri).

US Farms Inc. farms out the hard work. The company grows, markets, and distributes, horticultural and agricultural products. Its American Aloe Vera Growers and American Nursery Exchange units supply such products as potted aloe vera, jade plants, and other succulents, along with cactus, palm and other trees, cycads and ornamental shrubs to customers that include garden and home centers, mass merchants, drug and grocery chains, wholesalers, landscapers, and large end-users such as hotels, office parks, and golf courses. It also sells aloe vera to customers in the nutraceutical and cosmetic industries for use in dietary supplements, gels, creams, and other personal care products.

Val Verde Vegetable Co. is a leading grower and packager of fresh produce that sources products primarily from farms in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The company ships such fresh produce as cabbage, carrots, and tomatoes, as well as a variety of melons. In addition to US growers, Val Verde Vegetable also sources fresh produce from Mexico. The family-owned company was started by president Frank Schuster in 1987.

Valley Fig Growers is located in Fresno, California. All of the commercially sold dried figs produced in the United States are grown in the Fresno area and north, in the fertile San Joaquin Valley. California represents 20% of the world production of dried figs. Valley Fig Growers was established in 1959 and is the largest handler of figs in North America. The cooperative has 30 grower members representing about 40% of the California fig industry.
