Marfrig Frigor�ficos processes and exports (about 50% of sales) premium beef cuts and frozen cooked parts -- from tongues to shanks -- to consumer markets in Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. It also supplies lamb, pork, and poultry, and other food products. It runs about 10 processing centers throughout South America, where it has a slaughter production capacity of about 10,000 animals per day, as well as a central storage facility. Marfrig is expanding internationally and has agreed to acquire US-based Keystone Foods for about $1.2 billion.
