The company raises turkeys (180 million pounds of live bird per year) on its Ohio farm and supplies pre-cooked (oven-roasted, smoked, and cured breasts and deli meats) and ready-to-cook turkey products to retail and foodservice customers in the US and Mexico. Cooper Farms also provides private-label packaging services for other food manufacturers. The company also sells processed fish, beef, pork, and other products. Copacol was established in 1963 by Father Louise Luise and 32 farmers, and today runs nearly two dozen plants in Nova Aurora, Formosa do Oeste, Jesuitas, and Iracema do Oeste.

Cranswick was formed by farmers in the early 1970's to produce pig feed. In 1988 the Board embarked on a strategy to broaden the base of the Company's activities and to seek opportunities to develop into related areas offering greater scope to add value to the Company's processes. Activities have since been extended from this agricultural base into the food sector.The business is focused predominantly on the supply of fresh and processed food to the UK food retail, food manufacturing and food service categories.

The company is a leading chicken canner in the US and makes a number of fresh and fully-cooked chicken offerings. It also cans turkey, beef, and ham. Crider's products are supplied to food retailers, including club stores nationwide under branded and private-labels. The Georgia company was founded in 1944 by Ahtee and Emma Lou Crider and is still owned and operated by the founders' descendants.
