Port of Felixstowe Limited

Port of Felixstowe is where the UK meets the world by sea. The largest container port in the country, Port of Felixstowe offers deep-sea, short-sea, and feeder operations and serves as a major UK distribution hub for about 60 international shipping lines. Far East trade -- particularly Chinese imports -- provide more than half of the port's overall business and has prompted a major expansion effort to accommodate more container ships. The company first launched as The Felixstowe Railway and Pier Company in 1875. It is a subsidiary of Hutchison Port Holdings, a leading global port operator.
