TSG was created in 1997 with the purpose of sharing best practices and combining their purchasing power. Between 1997 and 2004, the company was very successful in achieving those goals. In early 2004, the owners of TSG made the decision to add a new purpose to the organization’s charter–to become the leading provider of high quality security services to corporations seeking one national or multi-regional security provider. For years, something has been missing from national or multi-regional contracts with the large national and international security firms - high end service on the local level. Large corporations often choose to go with these larger firms in order to take advantage of purchasing power and have the ease of centralized invoicing.
