Royal Institute of Navigation
The Royal Institute of Navigation is a not-for-profit society that promotes the development of navigation. Royal Institute of Navigation brings together people and organizations interested in all kinds of navigation from command and control, astronomy, mathematics, cartography, electronics, and information technology. Royal Institute of Navigation supports research and promotes education and communication through conferences and symposia that range from international events to single lectures. Royal Institute of Navigation also holds meetings to help in the formation of policies to be adopted by governmental or international bodies in navigationally-related topics. The Royal Institute of Navigation formed in 1947.
