Jewish Funds for Justice
The Jewish Funds for Justice (JFJ) leaves anti-defamation to the other guys and just concentrates on poverty, which it considers the greatest injustice. The not-for-profit organization has helped more than 500 grassroots groups that assist people of all religions in areas such as health care, education, employment, and housing. Jewish Funds for Justice supports the Jewish values of community (kehilah) and hope (tikvah) and seeks to educate Jewish people about social justice and issues related to poverty. JFJ was founded in 1984 to give Jews a national platform for supporting social and economic justice. Jewish Funds for Justice (JFSJ) was created in 2006.
