Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition
Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition (GPUAC) is a not-for-profit organization that works with business and community leaders to provide economic development, education, and workforce development for needy neighborhoods in the metropolitan Philadelphia area. Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition assists other grassroots organizations by providing financial management services, as well as loans and grants; Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition also operates more than 30 programs of its own, including youth services and literacy programs. Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition is funded through government and foundation grants, corporate contributions, and individual donations. GPUAC was formed by the 1991 merger of The Urban Affairs Partnership and the Philadelphia Urban Coalition.
