Chadron State College
Chadron State College (CSC) wants graduates to be home, home on the range. Its Agriculture & Range Management program educates students in domestic livestock, range management, soil and plant sciences, and wildlife management. But if ag isn't your thing CSC offers more than 50 other fields of study ranging from American Indian studies to chemistry, education, English, math, and music. The four-year college enrolls about 3,000 students. CSC also has one of the most extensive distance learning programs in the country with both off-campus, online, and self-study courses. Chadron State, which first opened for classes in 1911, is the only four-year and graduate-degree granting college in western Nebraska.
