Jackie Shroff
Jackie Shroff was born Jaikishan Kakubhai Shroff in Mumbai on February 1, 1960, son of Kakubhai and Rita (an ethnic Afghani), into a Gujarati family. Shroff made his film debut with the 1982 film Swami Dada in which he was introduced by Dev Anand,.Soon After Swami Dada, his subsequent movie was Hero directed by Subhash Ghai in which Jackie played the main lead actor opposite Meenakshi Seshadri former miss India and successful film actress. This film was a huge hit and made him a star overnight.
