R.R. Electronics was established in 1964 at Chandigarh (Capital city of Punjab & Haryana). It was the first Electronic Manufacturing unit to be registered in Chandigarh. The firm installed its traffic signal junction in 1967(at crossing of Sec 22-23, Chd) and since then has become one of the largest manufacturer of Traffic Signaling Systems in India. R.R. Starting with Electronics based Radios in the late sixty's, R.R pursued a strategy of Backward vertical integration and started manufacturing Power Plant High tension protection Equipments, Voltage Stabilizers, Traffic Signals, Solar energy based Equipments, Electronic Switching & Control Systems, Musical Fountains, Traffic Safety devices, Street Lights, Remote Control Systems, Micro Processor Technology Control Systems, Sound Conference Systems- to be fully integrated along the technology and energy value chain.
