Stardust Acting Academy decades ago, we had turned out a number of movie stars who made a great name for themselves in the industry. This included Sonali Bendre, Divya Dutta and Tara Sharma. When I ran the video film division, Hiba films, we introduced Aditya Panscholi and Urmila Matondkar. This time around it will be on a larger scale. That was more on a hit and run basis but yet we were successful. This particular curriculum for the academy has been put together with great care by Dev Advani (CEO, Stardust Acting Academy) and the faculty which is experienced in all different facets for nurturing talent.Stardust magazine has been a pioneer in film journalism. Having started in the 70s and inspite of a number of publications coming into the field, Stardust still enjoys the highest circulation and the highest readership. And in fact, it is the only magazine which has an international edition in London and New York. Our policy has always been to encourage new talent.

It was a group of young professionals in the early nineties who, while practicing as Actors and Voice Artistes, came together to form Sutradhar. True to the name, they went by Erasmus’ thought: Formally launched in 1996 with its Casting wing, we have seen many a milestones.
