Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati was established in 1954, in the world famous temple town of Tirupati on the sprawling campus of 1000 acres with a panoramic and pleasant hill view.Right from its inception, the University has been laying more emphasis on teaching, research and extension activities in different subjects. Telangana University is established through Act Number 28 of 2006, Government of Andhra Pradesh to cater to the academic pursuits of backward and rural student community belongs to Nizamabad and Adilabad districts.The University, at present is offering eighteen (18) courses where 1250 students are pursuing their studies in various courses at University Main Campus and the South-Campus of Bhiknoor.

CIEFL is an autonomous Institution, registered as a society. CIEFL provides for the study of English and Foreign Languages and their literatures, organisation of research, training of teachers, production of teaching materials, and extension services, to help improve the standards of the teaching of English and Foreign Languages in India. Over the years, CIEFL has been introducing various Foreign Languages that are in demand. It is the only University in India catering exclusively to the teaching/learning Foreign Languages. The Institute offers academic Programmes in English, Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish.

The UGC, however, was established in November 1956 as a statutory body of the Government of India through an Act of Parliament for the coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education in India. In order to ensure effective region-wise coverage throughout the country, the UGC has decentralised its operations by setting up six regional centers at Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bhopal, Guwahati and Bangalore. The head office of the UGC is located at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in New Delhi, with two additional bureaus operating from 35, Feroze Shah Road and the South Campus of University of Delhi as well.
