CAPEXIL, a non-profit making organization, was setup in March 1958 by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India to promote export of Chemical and Allied Products from India. And since then has been the voice of Indian business community.

The Council for Leather Exports was set up in July 1984. A non-profit company registered under the Indian Companies Act, 1956, the Council functions under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. The Council is entrusted with export promotion activities and overall development of the Indian leather industry. The Council's activities also include promoting Foreign Direct Investments and Joint Ventures in the Indian leather industry. The CLE serves as a bridge between Indian leather exporters and buyers all over the world.

Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) organisation is an attached office of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and is headed by Director General of Foreign Trade. DGFT is responsible for implementing the Foreign Trade Policy with the main objective of promoting India’s exports.

Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council (ESC), sponsored by the Government of India is India’s largest Electronics and IT trade facilitation organization. Starting in 1989, with an export performance of US$ 200 million.ESC has successfully steered India’s Electronics and Software Exports to US$ 143 billion during 2018-19. With membership of over 2000 exporters today, ESC facilitates global interests of foreign companies interested in establishing business linkages in India. EEPC India is the premier trade and investment promotion organization in India. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India and caters to the Indian engineering sector. As an advisory body it actively contributes to the policies of Government of India and acts as an interface between the engineering industry and the Government. Set up in 1955, EEPC India now has a membership base of over 13,000 out of whom 60% are SMEs.EEPC India organizes a large number of promotional activities such as buyer-seller meets (BSM) – both in India and abroad, overseas trade fairs/exhibitions, and India pavilion/information booths in selected overseas exhibitions to demonstrate the capabilities of Indian engineering industry and to provide the overseas buyers with true value as propagated by Brand India.

The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council is an all India apex body representing more than 7000 jewellers from India. It operates under the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. The Council is a non-profit organisation. Promotes export of Diamonds, Coloured Gemstones, Precious Metal Jewellery, Cut and Polished Synthetic Stones, Processed and Polished Pearls, Fashion & Costume Jewellery and more.

Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC) is a nodal agency constituted under “The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India” to promote the exports of all handloom products like fabrics, home furnishings, carpets, floor coverings, etc. HEPC was constituted in the year 1965 with 96 members and its present membership is around 1400 spread all over the country. The Handloom industry mainly exports fabrics, bed linen, table linen, toilet and kitchen linen, towels, curtains, cushions and pads, tapestries and upholstery’s, carpets and floor coverings, etc. The basic objective of HEPC is to provide all support and guidance to the Indian Handloom exporters and International buyers for trade promotion and International marketing. HEPC has its head office at Chennai and regional office at New Delhi.HEPC is incorporated as a not for profit company under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 and governed by the Memorandum and Articles of Association framed by the Council. It is administered by an Executive Committee consisting of elected representatives from the export trade, ex-officio members and nominated Government officials.
