National Gandhi Museum, New Delhi

The Museum was being managed under the Gandhi Smarak Nidhi (Gandhi Memorial Trust), New Delhi, in whose campus it is located, till 1965. On November 6, 1965, ‘Gandhi Smarak Sangrahalaya Samiti’ (GSSS; Gandhi Memorial Museum Society), Rajghat, New Delhi, was registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, Vide Regn. No. S.2873 of 1965-66 on 26 November 1965.
