The Ministry of Coal has the overall responsibility of determining policies and strategies in respect of exploration and development of coal and lignite reserves, sanctioning of important projects of high value and for deciding all related issues. Under the administrative control of the Ministry, these key functions are exercised through the Public Sector Undertakings, namely, Coal India Ltd.

Respected Sir, jitni auction WCL Coal Mines ne ki hai utna coal tooo private parties ko dijiye. Bhale hi 01/04/18 se GCV Billing honi hai jo rate difference hai utni coal quantity kam kar dijiye. Jisse auction ka kharcha bhi bachega..WCL ko to coal bechana hi hai..vaipari Against nahi hoga...mote nuksaan se bhi bach jaayega.. aur unka april ka target bhi pura ho jaayega because rainy season mein business off ho jaata hai...
