Sun Pharmaceutical Industries too slipped 4% at Rs 725, extending its previous day’s 6% fall after the company reported a 46% year on year (YoY) dip in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1,107 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 (Q2) due to lower sales growth, volatile currency movements and supply constraints.
BHEL was trading down 2% at Rs 180, extending its yesterday’s 3% decline on the NSE. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 178 in intra-day trade today. The company’s Q2 results were significantly below estimates on account of lower gross margins, which management attributed to weaker realisations and higher import content in supercritical thermal projects.
