Bajaj Auto motorcycle sales fall 21% in February
Bajaj Auto today reported a 21% decline in motorcycle sales at 2,16,077 units in February 2015.
The company had sold 2,73,323 units in the year ago period.
The two-wheeler major said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that its exports declined by 20% during the month to 1,12,909 units from 1,42,009 units in the corresponding year-ago period.
In the commercial vehicles category, Bajaj Auto's sales during the month stood at 27,242 units, down 32%, as against 39,971 units in January 2014.
The company 's total vehicle sales last month stood at 2,43,319 units, down 22%, as against 3,13,294 units in the same month a year earlier, the company added.
