Survey: TCS best IT service provider in Europe
Country's largest software exporter Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) said on Thursday it has been picked as the best IT service provider in Europe in terms of both customer satisfaction and performance, according to a survey.
The pan-European survey, conducted by Whitelane Research, polled 1,470 CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs and CTOs from top IT spending European organisations controlling over 4,200 IT contracts across 13 countries. The survey evaluated performance and levels of satisfaction with 23 leading IT services companies operating in the continent.
TCS emerged as the leader in the survey, with the highest general satisfaction level of 80%, ranking No 1 in terms of satisfaction across nine European countries, including Britain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and the Nordic region (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland). The company also attained top three spots in Spain, Belgium, the Luxembourg and the Netherlands, a TCS release said.
TCS was also rated No 1 in both applications services and infrastructure services (comprising data centres and end-user services). In terms of the performance report, it scored the highest in 7 out of 9 key performance indicators which include service delivery quality, reporting quality, pricing, proactivity, escalation effectiveness, account management quality and creation of business value.
"Despite its high growth rates, TCS has managed to retain the top most position in satisfaction for both its large (above €10 million) and small accounts (below €10 million), a strong indicator of its consistent account management quality," Whitelane Research's head of sourcing research Jef Loos said in the statement.
