Shruti Haasan lodges police complaint for leaked ‘Yevadu’ pictures

Actress Shruti Haasan has lodged a complaint with police here, alleging that some of her working stills have been uploaded online unauthorisedly.

“Following a complaint by the actress, the matter has been referred to the CID’s legal cell,” a CID officer said.

According to some reports, the pictures were shot on location when the actress had shot for a Telugu movie ‘Yevadu’ few months ago and some of these were taken from “unflattering angles”.

Pictures of Shruti Haasan’s dance song ‘Dimple Pimple’ from ‘Yevadu’ had flooded the internet. Some particular snapshots were not approved for release because they were shot from awkward angles.

The pictures were subsequently leaked and uploaded onto some websites unauthorisedly.
