Amazon has announced a 36-hour long Prime Day sale on July 16. The sale will go live on July 16 noon simultaneously in 17 nations till July 17 midnight. Amazon's this year Prime Day sale is getting bigger than the last year's. The first edition of Prime Day sale was 30-hour long. This year Amazon will introduce around 200 exclusive products on its website. To make the best out of the deals, you need to first subscribe to Amazon prime, the much-talked about Prime Day sale is exclusively for Amazon Prime members.
Amazon also has launched Prime subscription at Rs 129 monthly lately, in case you don't want to buy Rs 999 yearly subscription. After getting the Prime membership, you will be able to access to videos, music and more.
Talking about the offers, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be available at an effective price of Rs 41,990 during Amazon Prime Day 2018 sale. At present, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is available at a price of Rs 55,900 in India.
Besides, customers can avail an additional Rs 10,000 discount on the exchange. HDFC customers can avail Rs 4,000 cashback and no cost EMI up to 9 months.
But if you are looking to buy other options available in the smartphone section, then you should know that Amazon-exclusive smartphones such as the OnePlus 6, Moto G6, Redmi 5, RealMe 1 are now available for purchase on Prime Now app ahead of the Prime Day celebrations.
Notably, products avaialble on the Prime Now app qualify for a fast delivery time of 2 hours for Prime members between 6 AM to Midnight. This offer is in addition to the recently launched Amazon devices selection of Fire TV sticks, Kindle, Kindle Paperwhite (WiFI), Echo Dot and Echo on Prime Now.
Amazon Prime Day is expected to provide up to 40 per cent discounts on mobiles and accessories with to 50 per cent off on electronic goods and up to 70 per cent discount for home and outdoor items. There will be an additional discount of 10 per cent for those paying with HDFC Bank cards. As part of providing a new experience, Amazon India will be launching Virtual Reality outlets across 11 malls in Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi NCR, and Kolkata.
