Idea now gives unlimited calls, 1GB data at Rs 109; here are all benefits
Idea Cellular has introduced a new pack that offers 1GB data and unlimited calls at Rs 109 to combat the tariff war started by Reliance and later joined by other telcos including Airtel and Vodafone among others. The new Idea Rs 109 recharge pack comes with a validity of 14 days and benefits the customer with 1GB of data, unlimited local, national, and roaming calls, along with 100 SMSes per day.
According to the Idea website, the Rs 109 recharge pack will offer ‘unlimited’ calls – however, there is a cap on the limit that is 250 minutes per day and 1,000 minutes per week. On the exhaustion of the set limits, the customers will be charged at 1 paisa per second for all the local, national, and roaming calls. In addition to the calls, the Rs 109 pack also entitles the customers with a benefit of 1GB of either 3G or 4G data depending upon the circle. There are 100 SMSes per day bundled with the pack as well.
The Idea Rs 109 recharge pack is currently available in select circles including Delhi-NCR, Telangana, Bihar & Jharkhand among others. In order to recharge, the customers can either go to Idea website and choose the plan under their telecom circle and head to the payments page or simply open the My Idea app and find the pack to recharge using online payment methods.
Recently, Idea revised its Rs 149 recharge pack to offer 1GB daily data, unlimited calls – local, national, and roaming, and 100 SMSes per day with a validity of 28 days, as opposed to the previous validity of just 21 days. Idea also rejigged its Nirvana postpaid plans to offer more data to the customers. The lowest Nirvana postpaid plan worth Rs 398 now gives subscribers 20GB instead of 10GB provided earlier.
