Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) MLA Raj Kumar Singh who contested against the Janata Dal-United (JD-U) claiming that he will send Nitish Kumar to jail during 2020 Assembly elections, had joined the JD-U.

Singh is the only MLA who won 2020 election on LJP ticket. After joining the JD-U at CM residence (1 Anne Marg) in Patna, he changed the stand and said that Nitish Kumar is a visionary leader and role model for him.

China capable of launching cyber attack on India, we are getting ready for it: CDS Gen Bipin Rawat

Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Bipin Rawat has said that China is capable of cyber attacks against India and a mechanism is being readied to combat any such move.

In his address at the Vivekananda International Foundation on Wednesday, Rawat said that the leadership of India has demonstrated political will and determination in maintaining vital national interests in view of the 'unprovoked attack' on the security and dignity of the country. His remarks are being seen in the context of the deadlock with China in eastern Ladakh.

The stock of RIL was up 3 per cent at Rs 2,046, while Bharti Airtel gained 2.7 per cent to quote at Rs 546 on the BSE in the intra-day trade today.
