Adani Defence Systems and Technologies (ADSTL) has signed an agreement to acquire 85.8 per cent stake in Air Works, India’s largest private sector aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) company, at a valuation of ~400 crore.

“Air Works undertakes base maintenance for narrow-body and turboprop aircraft, as well as rotary aircraft from its facilities at Hosur, Mumbai and Kochi,” a statement by ADSTL said.

Nearly 36 crore beneficiaries have been verified under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri- Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY) as of November 30, 2024. The Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Prataprao Jadhav stated this in a written reply in the Lok Sabha on Friday.

Further, 8.39 crore hospital admissions worth over Rs 1.16 lakh crore have been authorized under the scheme.

Four people, including two children, died in a fire that broke out in a house in the Nayanpur area of Dewas in Madhya Pradesh, an official said.

According to police, the fire tenders were present at the location to douse the blaze which started at a milk dairy on the ground floor of a residential building.
