India's second largest IT company Infosys' board has approved the grant of stock incentives or Employee Stock Option Plans (ESOPs) worth over Rs 51 crore to CEO and MD Salil Parekh.

These stock incentives are under various heads including ESG and equity, and add up to over Rs 51 crore.

Vodafone Idea subscribers faced a network outage in the early hours of Friday, with users across Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Pune reporting they were unable to access mobile internet or make calls. The telecom operator attributed the disruption to a technical fault, and said services have now been restored.

“Our network services were briefly impacted in NCR during the early hours of Friday (April 18) due to a technical issue. The issue has been resolved and all services are now back to normal,” a Vodafone Idea spokesperson said.

Information technology (IT) giant Infosys on Thursday reported 12 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) fall in consolidated net profit at ₹7,033 crore for the December to March quarter for the financial year 2024-25 (Q4FY25).

Revenue for the March quarter was up 7.9 per cent Y-o-Y to ₹40,92 crore, the Salil Parekh-led company said in a regulatory filing to the exchanges.

The board of India's IDFC FIRST Bank has approved raising up to Rs 7,500 crore ($877 million) from affiliate firms of Warburg Pincus and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority to fuel its next phase of growth, the lender said on Thursday.

The entities will invest the funds for a combined 15 per cent stake in the mid-sized private lender which has 971 branches, a loan book of Rs 2.31 trillion and a deposit base of Rs 2.27 trillion.
