Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar, India's largest sugar manufacturer, on Thursday received the Board's in-principle nod for exploring options for capital restructuring, resolution plan for debt and other corporate restructuring.

A decision in this regard was taken at the Board's meeting held on Thursday, according to a regulatory filing.

The stock has rallied 32 per cent in last four trading sessions on improved outlook amid rising commodity prices. The stock of state-owned company now traded close to its 52-week high of Rs 203.85 registered on October 6, 2021.

At 09:38 am; the stock traded 2 per cent higher at Rs 187.95 on back of heavy volumes. In comparison, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 0.32 per cent at 55,648.
