The Bengaluru-based Prestige Group, which is entering the financial capital, has drawn plans of investing at least Rs 7,500 crore over the next four-five years to get a foothold in the foremost realty markets in the country, a top official has said.

The listed company, which has a presence in the southern market and has delivered over 250 projects, will develop both residential and commercial projects in the financial capital, its managing director Irfan Razack told PTI.

The NCLAT has dismissed the plea of Hinduja Leyland Finance Ltd to initiate insolvency proceedings against its creditor Fly Express Logistics.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed 80 cases of monkeypox in 11 countries and said they are working to better understand the extent and cause of the outbreak.

The Arvind Kejriwal Government has undertaken a unique initiative of using robots for extinguishing fires in the city. Initially, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Government on Friday inducted two robots into Delhi's firefighting fleet that will be able to douse fires in narrow streets, warehouses, basements, stairs, forests and enter places like oil and chemical tankers and factories.

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma has ruled out the possibility of repealing the Meghalaya Regulation of Gaming Act, 2021 saying its repeal would cost the state about Rs 10 crore revenue loss.

He said the Act is required to regulate existing gambling parlours which have been there for the past 25 years in the hill state.
