Caste census will be incorporated into the national census, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Ashwini Vaishnaw said on Wednesday.

Addressing a Cabinet press briefing, Vaishnaw said, "Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs (CCPA) has decided today that caste enumeration should be included in the forthcoming census."

The Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) updated guidelines for ATM transactions are set to come into effect on May 1. The new framework will bring changes to the free transaction limits, interchange fee structures, and charges for additional transactions.

RBI’s decision to update these guidelines was first communicated on March 28. Customers will be required to pay a fee of ₹23 after they exhaust their free ATM transaction limit each month.
