The gross gaming revenue of fantasy sports during the ongoing IPL season is likely to reach Rs 2,900 - Rs 3,100 crore, a report showed on Thursday.

According to the report by Redseer Strategy Consultants, the average revenue per user is expected to grow from Rs 410 in IPL 2022 to Rs 440 per user in IPL 2023.

An FIR has been lodged against Samajwadi Party MLC Swami Prasad Maurya with the Kotwali police of Rae Bareli in connection with a video that purportedly showed him making an "objectionable comment on Lord Ram".

This is the fourth FIR lodged against Maurya this year.

The move came months after the Securities and Exchange Board of India's (SEBI's) guidelines for conversion of private unlisted InvITs into listed ones were issued.

"The valuation of the trust units was determined basis third party evaluation and further endorsed by Trusts’ investors as well. The value ascertained comes to around 16 times FY 24 revenue, which will further keep appreciating with more projects coming in," the trust said.
