"On average, about 30 incidents do take place, including go-around, missed approaches, diversion, medical emergencies, weather, technical and bird hits," the top DGCA told ANI.

The rate of domestic 14.2 kg LPG cylinders was increased by Rs 50 with effect from July 6, Wednesday. The price of a 5 kg domestic cylinder was increased by Rs 18. This is the first hike in domestic LPG cylinder prices since May.

In May, the rates of domestic LPG cylinders were increased twice, first by Rs 50 on May 7 and then again on May 19 by Rs 3.50.

The Delhi High Court has rejected CBI's plea seeking police custody of four persons, including a joint drug controller at the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO), who were arrested in connection with a Biocon Biologics bribery case.

The high court, however, directed the jail superintendent to hand over the custody of associate vice president of Biocon Biologics L Praveen Kumar, who was arrested on June 20 and presently lodged in judicial custody, to the CBI investigating officer (IO) till July 6.

West Bengal's COVID-19 tally rose to 20,35,617 on Monday as 1,132 more people tested positive for the infection, a health bulletin said.

The state had reported 1,822 fresh infections and three fatalities on Sunday.

The positivity rate rose to 15.12 per cent from 14.10 per cent on the previous day.
