Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India’s largest IT services player, in a statement said that the media report suggesting the involvement of senior executives in bribes for jobs from recruitment firms relates to a breach of the company’s Code of Conduct by certain employees and vendors. It also said that there was no financial impact and does not involve any fraud.
TCS made these clarification to the exchanges in a filing, as a media report said that senior executives involved in hiring thousands of personnel took bribes from staffing firms. The story also stated that TCS’s Resource Management Group (RMG) head has been accepting commissions from staffing firms.

The Madhya Pradesh government will impart industry-oriented training to youngsters and pay them a monthly stipend of Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 for a year under the Mukhyamantri Sikho Kamao Yojana (learn-and-earnscheme). The scheme aims to make the state’s youngsters self-reliant. The initial target is to make 100,000 youngsters in the state proficient in more than 800 courses in 46 sectors, such as manufacturing, engineering, management, marketing, tourism, hospitals, railways, information technology, and banking, among others.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan recently said skill development training would be linked with employment.

Intel India Chief Nivruti Rai has resigned from the company after working for 29 years. She was the head of Intel's operations in India and vice-president of Intel Foundry Services. She started at Intel in February 1994 as a design engineer.
