Sandeep Dadlani, the head of Americas and global head of manufacturing and retail for Infosys, has resigned, in a setback for chief executive Vishal Sikka.

On Thursday night, Infosys named two executives – Karmesh Vaswani as the Global Head for Retail, CPG & Logistics (RCL) and Nitesh Banga as the Global Head of Manufacturing – to replace Dadlani.

Spicejet, GoAir, Jet Airways and Vistara airlines on Friday joined Indigo and Air India to put Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MP Diwakar Reddy under no-fly list for his unruly behaviour with a staffer at the Vishakhapatnam airport.

Reddy, now, has become the second MP in three months to be banned from flying for his unruly behaviour.

Daily revision of petrol, diesel rates: Petrol and diesel prices will be changed on a daily basis. Starting today, the move by state-owned oil companies will mark a departure from the earlier practice of fortnightly revisions of rates, according to reports. Rates will change everyday depending on any movement in international oil rates. Yesterday, petrol price was reduced cut by Rs 1.12 per litre and diesel price was cut by Rs 1.24 per litre. Till now, prices were used to be revised on 1st and 16th of every month based on the fortnightly average of international oil price and the foreign exchange rate, the report says.

A woman sued Uber Technologies Inc on Thursday claiming top executives at the ride-hailing company improperly obtained her medical records after she was raped by a driver in India, according to court documents.
