A person was killed after some unidentified people opened fire at AAP MLA Naresh Yadav's convoy in southwest Delhi's Kishangarh village on late Tuesday night, police said.

The newly-elected MLA along with his supporters was returning home after paying obeisance at a temple in his constituency, the police said.

SPARC on Tuesday said the company has received a Complete Response Letter (CRL) from the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for the new drug application (NDA) for Taclantis (Paclitaxel Injection Concentrate for Suspension).

The stock was 5 per cent away from its 52-week low of Rs 1,192, touched on October 11, 2019.

The United States Trade Representative’s (USTR’s) office has classified India as a developed economy, ineligible for benefits given by Washington DC to developing countries. This is expected to stop all chances of India reclaiming its benefits under the US’ Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) scheme.

The GSP is America’s oldest preferential trade scheme, which offered Indian exporters tariff-free access to the US until June, when all benefits were suspended.

The number of fatalities from China's new coronavirus epidemic jumped to 1,110 nationwide on Wednesday after hard-hit Hubei province reported 94 new deaths.

In its daily update, Hubei's health commission also confirmed another 1,638 new cases in the central province, where the outbreak emerged in December. There are now more than 44,200 confirmed cases across China, based on previously released figures from the government.

The counting of votes started at 8 AM on Tuesday. Tight security arrangements were put in place at 21 centres across the national capital with strong rooms storing the EVMs placed under three-layer security.
